Course Outline

Participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to perform customer facing roles in financial institutions and may undertake a range of tasks under supervision and some self-managed work.  The range of technical skills and knowledge is intermediate.

A total of sixteen (16) units must be completed, including:

1. ADFSF3001A Undertake financial calculations;
2. ADFSF3003A Prepare credit application;
3. ADFSF3005A Process customer transactions;
4. ADFSF3002A Open, maintain and close accounts;
5. ADFSF3004A Handle and balance cash;
6. ADFSF3006A Promote customer awareness of financial literacy;
7. ADFAD3001A Work as part of a team;
8. ADFIT3001A Design and produce workplace documents;
9. ADFIT3002A Produce spreadsheets;
10. ADFIT2004A Operate computing packages;
11. EFALN2003A Work with number concepts for the workplace;
12. EFALN3002A Read and write more complex documents for the workplace in Tetum;
13. EFALS3001A Conduct routine workplace oral communication in English;
14. EFALS3002A Read and write routine workplace information in English;
15. ADFAD1007A Prepare for work experience;
16. ADFAD1008A Undertake work experience.

Participants who complete this course will receive a nationally recognised Certificate of Completion.
