Course Outline
Participants will gain the knowledge and basic skills needed to prepare for entry level employment in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
The course includes:
- Petroleum Industry Overview: includes petroleum overview, industry structure, upstream – midstream – downstream and pipeline;
- Fitness for work;
- General Safety in Petroleum Industry (PPE): includes Safety Signage, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), PPE statistics, PPE in oil and gas, general requirements, eye protection, safety glasses, welding hazards, treatment, head protection, foot protection and hand protection.
Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
